Casot des Mailloles 'El Niño' 2019

This blend of syrah and grenache gris is lighter fare compared to some of the other wines in Jordi Perez's current line-up, but I would still be sure to drink this with some food, or even age it for a couple of months (or longer!)

2019 was a concentrated and extracted year in Banyuls, a region that's already known for concentration and extraction. That said, the grenache gris lightens it up quite a bit with some heady, dark florals and a boost of acidity.
