Mylene Bru 'Rita' 2017

Named for St. Rita (the saint of desperate causes) this one comes from the coast of the Mediterranean port town of Sete, where Carignan varietals are highly revered.

Macerated for 20 days and finished in neutral tanks, this is a refreshing take on an old vine varietal. Dried cranberry and sweet tobacco here to carry us through the winter.
