Italians tend to have a pretty loose approach to white wines and rosé, often pressing the fruit very slowly, without a fancy pneumatic press with some degree of intentional skin-contact, or some combo of the three. That said, though this rosato is definitely darker than most rosés in other parts of the world, it's pretty fresh for Italy - really vibrant, tart fruit that would sit comfy with some lamb meatballs
