Romain Petiteau 'Petit Origami' 2019
A fun pet nat, "Petit Origami" plays on the winemaker's last name, Petiteau and the "origami" act of bringing together various varietals (though mostly Melon de Bourgogne.)
From the Loire, more specifically Nantes, these grapes are grown fairly close to the Atlantic and do exceptionally well in the cool coastal climate and rich soils. Clams, mussels, scallops and shrimp are made for wine like this. Tart berries and vibrant minerality.
